This app helps Shopify merchants show EU food information (Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011) on their product pages.
The app is provided by StoreFleet, which is responsible for the personal data described in this policy. You can contact us at [email protected].
Food label content you enter (nutrition values, ingredients, allergens, operator name and address) is stored in your own Shopify store as product and shop metafields in the eu_labels namespace. It stays in your store if you uninstall the app.
The app's server stores your shop domain, shop name, granted access scopes and an encrypted access token, so it can keep your installation working.
If you use the in-app support chat, the messages you send and our replies are stored in our Support Hub (our own support system), linked to your shop domain.
The app also reads your store owner's email address and your store's primary language from Shopify. It does not store them on its server; they are only passed on as described under Service emails.
Each support chat message is sent to our Support Hub together with:
We use this so our support team knows who they are talking to and how your store is set up. The Support Hub also receives a notice, with your shop domain, shop name and whether it is a development store, when the app is installed or uninstalled.
We use the data above to provide the app you installed, to answer your support requests and to send the service emails described below. We process it because it is needed to provide the app and support you asked for, and, for service emails, in our legitimate interest in helping you use the app, which you can object to at any time.
The app does not read, collect or store any personal data about your customers. It does not request access to customers or orders.
The app does not sell any data. Support chat conversations and the data listed above are processed by our Support Hub and shared with these service providers:
These providers process the data only to help us answer your support requests. Data used for service emails is shared as described below. Our service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the EU and UK.
Your store owner's email address and your store's primary language are shared with our support system (StoreFleet Support Hub, operated by us), together with your shop domain and shop name, so we can send you service emails about the app: a welcome email, setup help, tips, questions about your satisfaction and feedback, a request to review the app, and a short note after you uninstall it. These emails are sent through our email delivery provider. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any of these emails or by writing to [email protected]. Development stores are never emailed.
We keep your installation record and support chat conversations while the app is installed. When you uninstall the app, its installation is marked as uninstalled and the stored refresh token is discarded. 48 hours later Shopify asks the app to erase your shop's data (shop/redact). The server then deletes your installation record, asks our Support Hub to delete your shop's support chat conversations, including the staff and shop details sent with them, and deletes any customer privacy requests recorded for your shop. A record that the erasure request was received is kept as evidence. Copies of messages already posted to our support team's Slack workspace are not removed automatically. Label content stays in your store's metafields until you delete it.
You, and staff members whose details are sent with support chat, can ask us for access to, correction of or deletion of the personal data described in this policy, object to service emails, or ask questions about how it is used, by writing to [email protected]. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
